Case Challenges in Early Alzheimer's Disease

On September 26, 2013, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), in collaboration with the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, released a continuing education course entitled “Case Challenges in Early Alzheimer’s Disease” in support of the National Plan to Address Alzheimer’s Disease.  The continuing education course is aimed at educating primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses on how to utilize evidence-based strategies to diagnose, monitor, and treat patients with Alzheimer’s Disease and improve early detection in primary care and outpatient settings.  This activity supports HRSA’s mission of improving health through a skilled health professions workforce and supports HRSA’s role in implementing the National Plan’s goal of educating health providers about Alzheimer’s Disease.
