Continuing Education Information


NCNPTE: Wake AHEC is a pre-approved provider of NCBPTE Continuing Competence Activities.  This activity is 24.0 hours (6.0 hours each day)
Continuing Education Units (CEU): Wake Area Health Education Center will provide 2.4 Continuing Education Units to participants upon completion of the activity (0.6 each day).  No partial daily CEU credit will be given.
Contact Hours: Wake  Area Health Education Center will provide up to 24.0 contact hours to participate (6.0 hours each day).
CEU credit and contact hours are generally accepted by the NC Boards for nurses, social workers, therapists and pharmacists.  License requirements are subject to change.  Wake AHEC recommends that participants contact their licensing boards for specific questions.

Refunds and Substitutions

No refunds will be issued inless we are notified by 5 pm, November 11, 2014.  A $60 cancellation fee will be deduced from your registration fee if a refund is issued.  Substitutions are encouraged. What to Wear

Conference attire is “business casual.”  Occasionally meeting rooms are cool, so please dress accordingly.
