As the summer begins, the EPA has easy to read fact sheets for caregivers regarding environmental health issues.  For example, how to stay safe during a heat wave, or how to find out about the air quality where you live and how knowing about the air quality could prevent an asthma or heart attack.  In addition, they also have a guidebook to make your community a great place for all ages and how you can get involved to make it a better place for persons of all ages.

These materials are free and can be viewed at  http://epa.gov/aging/factsheets/index.htm
